Aircraft Service Provider/s: CareFlight Queensland (CFQ) is a helicopter rescue organisation operating out of Coolangatta Airport on the Gold Coast. CMS medical practitioners are accompanied by Queensland Ambulance Service Paramedics on every helicopter mission. Also based at the CFQ hanger is a road ambulance and the CMS Air Ambulance (Lear Jet) which is utilised for domestic and international retrievals on an ongoing basis.

This location is the flagship and most well established of the CMS bases and has been operating a fully integrated air medical model for in excess of 10 years.
